Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Deed of Sale
Payment of registry fees. The term itself is slightly blurred on the original document so I'm not sure if it's spelled correctly. Can't find ANYTHING online.
It appears at the end of a deed of sale listed along with other fees (registrar's fee, state's fee). I can tell that it's 1% of the registrar's fee if that helps...

I'm not finding anything on this either, and you've probably checked whether it could be the brazilian state of Amapá ? If you know where the asset was located, maybe a Map search could help.

A parte que não se vê bem é precisamente no "m". O início e fim vêm-se bastante bem: "Apa?a". Tratando-se de uma escritura dos anos 80 onde ainda se usava o cruzeiro penso que deva ser alguma taxa que tenha sido abolida ou substituída por outra.
