"une herbe grasse, iodée par les embruns"
I can only think of soaked/covered/misted in sea spray here. Iodised sound wrong and too chemical. Treated could work but I believe that the grass in question has been sprayed naturally by sea water as it's on the coast.
Can anyone give me a translation for iodée? Thanks!

Another suggestion
....as in "lush grass, rich in iodine thanks to the sea spray"
It is possible to keep the "iodine" in there, imo, as it has so many positive properties; I agree however, that "iodised" does not feel appropriate.

: In the context of husbandry, this is probably a good fit.

In view of the context and the field you have chosen, you are not looking for poetry here, but something scientific. Perhaps you coudl provide a tiny bit more context. Can you post the sentence before and the one after the one in which your term appears, perhaps posting the complete sentence into the bargain?
Thanks, Nikki
