"Either I imagine a belt, lik a trouser’s one, making a screen between me and my ennemy and in this case would the protection look like a shield, or an armour (bubble) around me.
Or, I imagine as well, some larger one, which could protect a spaceship , or with the combination of several could protect a whole planet ?"

sa réponse:
"The belt deflector is a device to protect your body from damage from small arms fire, like pistols, rifles and lasers. It's worn as a belt and projects an energy field that molds itself around the shape of your body and deflects small things. It wouldn't be much help against, say, an energy cannon."

et je n'ai pas d'idée quant à la traduction, une semaine que je sèche sur ces deux termes.
