A method for the integral molding of a thermoplastics top on the edge of a cardboard tube, the plasticized synthetic plastics material being injected into the mold cavity formed by inner and outer mold parts, the mold parts being pressed against each other with force. To produce relatively thin plastics parts with a high degree of dimensional accuracy in the very shortest time and by using simpler tools, the mold cavity in a first stage is maintained at a large volume during which the plasticized synthetic plastics material at least partially fills the mold cavity under a relatively low pressure, the mold cavity being in a second stage conveyed to a smaller volume than that of the first stage, the clamping force for pressing together the inner and outer mold parts being increased in the second stage in relation to that in the first stage.

Un procedimento per lo stampaggio integrale di top termoplastici sul bordo di un tubo di cartone, il materiale sintetico plasticizzato viene iniettato nella cavità dello stampo formato da parti di stampo interne ed esterne, le parti dello stampo vengono pressate l'una contro l'altra con forza. Per produrre pezzi di plastica relativamente sottili con un alto grado di precisione dimensionale nel più breve tempo possibile utilizzando utensili più semplici, la cavità dello stampo in una prima fase viene mantenuta ad un ampio volume durante il quale il materiale plastico sintetico riempie almeno parzialmente la cavità nello stampo stesso con una pressione relativamente bassa, la cavità nello stampo viene in una seconda fase portata ad un volume più piccolo di quello del primo stadio, nella seconda fase la forza di serraggio per pressare insieme gli stampi interni ed esterni viene aumentata rispetto a quella della prima fase.
