Certifico que fulano de tal, **revisitaba en el character que invocan precedentemente** y que las firmas que anteceden guardan similitud con las que obran en nuestros registros.

Just want to make sure I'm on the right track here, thanks in advance.

Discussion

Michelle Wolfson Feb 9, 2010:
I just came across the same text in a translation that I am currently working on and thought it would be a good idea to update this entry with additional information. The text comes from a diploma from a university in Argentina. So there is definitely no mixtures of languages. "Firmas" are the signatures that are being certified, not "companies", as suggested by Adam. Plus there is a typo: it should indeed be revistaba, revistitaba, as Kirsty suggests. The rest of Adam's translation fits, making the substitution of signatures for companies.

Falta contexto y hay una mezcla se Espaol(revisitar) e Ingls (cHaracter)? Puedes ayudar?

role

"...Certify that Mr xxxx revisited in the role that had been previously invoked and that the previous companies had a similarity with those who work in our offices..."

Gnomo is right: there's a mixture of languages and there's not enough context. Given the lack of context, this is nothing more than a guess, and I have no idea what is being talked about. However I've decided to submit this rather weak suggestion if only to provoke some other replies...

revistaba and not revisitaba? - was acting in the capacity

... they previously refer to.

Revistir is also transitive so the en wouldn't really follow it.
