Je suis en train de traduire un texte sur les dangers du changement climatique dans la conservation des archives.
J'ai du mal à comprendre l'expression entière dans cette phrase : "they developed an understanding of archive since manual based archiving to digital archiving developed." Je ne comprends pas ce que vient faire ici le second "developed". Sans cela, j'aurais traduit par "ils ont réussi à développer une compréhension des archives, de l'archivage manuel à l'archivage numérique".

Each archivar knows what archiving is. It's not written "understanding of archiving" but "of archive", this refers to the content correspondingly. Please read correctly!
