English term

iTHD

English to Spanish Science Electronics / Elect Eng Drivers, eleectronic components
Features:
* Facilitates IEEE 519 Compliance
* Less than 5% iTHD at input terminal

This is a list for a regenerative converter. I know that THD stands for Total Harmonic Distortion, but it's the " i " where I'm stuck. I have seen several kinds of THD, for example: vTHD is for voltage, and I believe the " i " may be for intermodulation, but I haven't found a convincing sentence that uses the word intermodulación along wirh distorsion armónica total

I am no expert in this area, but my research shows that “iTHD” has a distinctive meaning, Input Total Harmonic Distortion, and is not exactly the same as THD. The “i” stands for “input” referring to “input current”, “corriente de entrada”. As far as I know, the usual expression in Spanish is “tasa de distorsión armónica total”, but in this case referred specifically to input current (iTHD) and calculated in percentages, as shown in your own example (“Less than 5% iTHD”).

In order to enable analysis of the harmonic distortion, the parameter THD, which stands for Total Harmonics Distortion, is defined as [maths formula]. There are two different THD values for the voltage (THDv) and current (THDi).

However, a fact is that you find both the expressions “iTHD” and “THDI”. I believe they both mean the same, but I am not totally sure. Please see here:

Multi-parameter mathematical model for determination of PC cluster total harmonic distortion of input current
Purpose - Low power devices with switched-mode power supply represent harmonic generating apparatus in widespread use nowadays. The influence of personal computers (PCs), which affect the supply voltage, is considered. Harmonic level due to simultaneous PC operation is quantified by the total harmonic distortion of input current (THDI).

"i" stands for current and "v" for voltage as you said. Click on this link so you understand the concept:
