Italian term

Presentato/riportato in un libro

Italian to English Tech/Engineering General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters

In some manuals, the G74 is ................ as axial drilling cycle, whereas in other books it is linked (?) to grooving cycle along Z-axis.
As well, the G75 is described as radial grooving cycle, or otherwise as radial drilling cycle.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (2): philgoddard, Lara Barnett

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Lara Barnett Feb 19, 2020:
@ Fiona I did not give any terminology advice, as Phil says, it doesn't hurt to warn people of things like this.
philgoddard Feb 18, 2020:
If I posted a translation containing mistakes, I would want people to warn me rather than pretending they didn't exist.
Fiona Grace Peterson Feb 18, 2020:
Phil and Lara Can we please refrain from giving unsolicited advice on someone's work?
Marika Quarti (asker) Feb 18, 2020:
Quali errori scusate?
Lara Barnett Feb 18, 2020:
Mistakes As Phil says, your English version is full of mistakes. "presentata" can hardly be the problem here.
Josephine Cassar Feb 18, 2020:
@Asker Where is the part 'riportato in un libro'?

I see nothing wrong with "presented". To avoid repetition you could then use shown/illustrated as...
