French term

lame orientée

French to English Other Environment & Ecology Hydrocarbon separators
I have managed to find 'lamella settlement' for 'décantation lamellaire' but am struggling on the 'lames orientées', so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance and please let me know if I've posted this in the wrong field!

According to the Washbay Solutions website, "The oil and water mixture with lighter particulates travels up the inclined plates. The inclined plates start to separate the mixture. Some oil rises to the top of the separator and the remainder of the particulates slide back down to the sludge hopper."

The yumpu document from RGF Environmental refers to them as coalescing incline plates as well as incline plates, and the Oils Sands magazine refers to them as inclined plates.
