Concerning the composers’ and authors’ rights in our catalog, the majority of the subset of our catalog that we utilize for direct licensing is registered at either NN, NN or NN in the NN. Our exercise of our rights to direct-license the composers/authors public performance rights of our catalog is derived first and foremost from the license grant we have received from the original rightsholders of the music works, but insofar as the NN societies are concerned, the NN societies are legally obligated to permit their members to issue non-exclusive direct licenses to clients both in the NN and in foreign countries.
