It's an idea to post the country or island of origin, less anyone should receive the mistaken impression that this archaic pre-1925 UK term is still in current legal use outside of the USA where there is no need for the guardain to 'render military service' in return for the socage.
The bienes raíces need not be a latifundio and the owner a latifundista - terms that may be familiar to Latin American readers.
It's an idea to post the country or island of origin, less anyone should receive the mistaken impression that this archaic pre-1925 UK term is still in current legal use outside of the USA where there is no need for the guardain to 'render military service' in return for the socage.
The bienes raíces need not be a latifundio and the owner a latifundista - terms that may be familiar to Latin American readers.
