In this case, one may close off the ram air cooler and reject more of the heat into the very cold fuel in the first fuel tank . Furthermore, because the second fuel tank is so cold, rejecting heat into the second fuel tank may be advantageous. In this way, electrical energy losses may be returned to the fuel heat sink and minimize energy that may be dumped overboard. Furthermore, by avoiding use of the ram air cooler, ram drag affects may be minimized."
