English term

RPA

English to Spanish Law/Patents Law (general) Marriage certificate, UK
The acronym appears on top of a certified copy of a marriage certificate from the UK, followed by a number.

Could you help me determine the meaning?

I was thinking about "Registration process authorization", but I haven't been able to confirm it.

Thank you!

Just leave it as it is. It is the General Register Office (GRO) Reference Number. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/...

Acronym I agree with Villarino.
No translation needed.
Alphanumeric code that identifies the certificate.

Si el código se parece Al que sale en el certificado que cita Taña parece ser un código alfanumérico
Quizá tiene alguna correspondencia con una sección del registro pero diría que son letras sin más

Thank you! I sent an email to the General Records Office to find out. In case the response does not arrive before my deadline, I'll go with "RPA" and the number.

Thanks!

@ Sandra It is probably a code of some kind, such as a county/borough code, for example, and followed by a number which in the long run is immaterial to the translation and lends nothing really. One could spend hours and hours searching for the codes to no avail. Just leave "RPA and the number" and move on! OR, if you tell us which city/parish/borough the marriage certificate was issued that may help to pinpoint what RPA means! Can you supply that information then? Regards.

puedes preguntar al clente o al registro prueba a buscar en la red una forma de comunicarte con el registro
