Tetanus is most common in places that have rich, moist climates. Other things that may raise your risk are:

Not having an up to date tetanus vaccination
Injuries such as cuts or burns that have soil or unclean items in it

Being up to date with your tetanus vaccine is the best tool to prevent tetanus. - https://www.cdc.gov/tetanus/about/prevention.html

Do I need a dose of tetanus vaccine after cuts, bites, etc?

If you are not immunised or up-to-date with boosters then an injection of vaccine is usually advised.

If you are up-to-date with tetanus immunisations then you do not need a tetanus vaccine.

Na przykład coś takiego jak pod linkiem.

Brzmi logicznie.

being current with vaccinations

Explanation:
Columnist says being current with vaccinations is especially important for older people because the body's natural defenses weaken.

Talk with your doctor at Vanguard Medical Group to make sure you and your family are current with vaccinations and to schedule your next vaccine.

Though the frequency will decrease as they age, be sure they are current with vaccinations as it can lead not only to illness but also exclusion from school .
