This is part of a medical report and refers to hospital wards being "fellesfaglig avdelinger". The patient is receiving palliative care. I think I know what the expression means, but am stuck for the appropriate (UK) English term.

What's bothering me is fellesfaglig acting as an adverb, rather than as an adjective, to wit: fellesfaglige avdelinger.
Also 'hybrid operating wards' would - ambiguously - add a questionable surgical spin to a palliative care scene.
