Spanish term or phrase: alcance de las publicaciones
Buenas noches,

neutral  philgoddard: I've already said this.//My link refers to a noun. We've had this question many times before with the same context. By answering it, you're encouraging people to post the same questions over and over again.

-> Same spelling, but very different meaning. Your link refers to the verb 'to reach' - Asker's question is about the noun 'reach', which is a standard performance parameter used by media analysts as per my quote from IPSOS.

agree  neilmac: "Campaign Reach is a count of the number of people who viewed your digital advertisements"...

neutral  Andrew Bramhall: You should have added 'campaign' to 'reach' for it to make full sense in the context here;//alright then, but reach alone is still too vague despite your protestations to the contrary.
14 hrs
-> The expression in the question header is alcance de las publicaciones, which appears in the first bullet point after Parte 1 in Asker's quote from the ST. // Most specialist jargon is 'vague' to the uninitiated :)

'Audience' would also work in my opinion.

disagree  Jennifer Levey: Asker's question is about the standard performance parameter, 'reach' used by media analysts as per my quote from IPSOS.// No, alcance/reach is a number, a statistic, a performance indicator that quantifies an 'audience'.
8 hrs
-> Be that as it may, it ultimately boils down to an audience of some kind.

agree  philgoddard: There's nothing wrong with this, though I associate it more with traditional print media. And audience is fine too.

neutral  Andrew Bramhall: Audience or readership would be more precise in the circumstances.// because 'reach' as per your link and JL's answer is too generalised, and not specific enough to the context.
2 hrs
  -> Why?
neutral  Jennifer Levey: I repeat: Asker's question is about the standard performance parameter, 'reach' used by media analysts as per my quote from IPSOS. Additional source: I was data manager in a broadcast media observatory many years ago.
10 hrs
-> So you're saying it doesn't mean reach, it means reach. OK...
