we've become world (world citizens) Explanation: siamo diventati mondo per mano di altri = we've become world (world citizens) / we were educated to become world citizens at the hands of others (by others) Educating children to become world citizens may very well inspire them to become future leaders for positive changes worldwide. https://borgenproject.org/educating-children-to-become-world... ... suffering at the hands of others... https://whatson.bfi.org.uk/Online/default.asp?BOparam::WScon... |

We have become the world Explanation: I would keep the article in this case. As in 'we are the world' the world is now us. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 22 hrs (2023-09-02 16:43:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I guess it means that everything in the world including us is the result of an evolutionary process. Thus we are not born INTO the world (as something separate from it) but we become it. |

we are part of the world now Explanation: io la interpreto così poichè il mondo è venuto da noi, attraverso persone provenienti da o che sono state in altre parti del mondo, siamo diventati come il mondo ormai |

We became a world unto ourselves Explanation: It's hard to tell what the speaker means without more context. Is this a story about a family that has had to isolate itself and thus become it's own world? Or is it about opening up and becoming "international"? The use of "divieti e ceffoni" makes me think the former, so I'd probably say something like "we became a world unto ourselves" |
