opérations originées/closées
Hi,
I am translating an audit report of a bank and need to work out the meaning of 'opérations originées/closées.' They are found in a table referring to the bank's business activity. All I can think of is 'original/completed transactions' but I am not sure.
Thank you in advance.

A token alternative. I doubt these 'dealings' or 'transactions' refer rexclusively to lending and advance, rather also bills of exchange dis/hono(u)red and banker's drafts that 'cannot be stopped'.
BrE would, in banking and conveyancing, gravitate towards completion.

What is “closing” a mortgage loan? It 's the final step in the process of buying and financing a home. It's also called the “settlement.” This is when you and all the other parties in the loan transaction sign legal documents and distribute funds, after which you become responsible for the loan.

Thanks, so how would 'originée' work as a verb in the EN text? 'Transactions with loan origination?' |

: It doesn't actually say loan, though. I'd go for transaction.
