"good point" for doing something, esp. among scouts or cub-scouts. I was never a Polish girl scout so I don't know the Polish euivalent. "brownie" points are similar, but more related to cub-scouts.
Of course the other translations are also good, but giving more formal meaning. I always thought here was the colloqiual meaning (because of the "browniz")
