the materiality of ideas Explanation: figures in several web reports, all of them dealing with art, philosophy, architecture. What is specifically referred to is a "material aspect" (the nature of ideas being more immaterial). The fact that so many works these days are "conceptual" (i.e., design- or idea-based) gives rise to a necessity to point out the material and non-material side of art.
