Arabic term

ند اسود

Arabic to English Other Botany What kind of incense is this?
I am searching what is this particular incense or ingredient called "ند اسود"?
It is used in arabic esoteric practices as compound or separated ingredient for boukhur بخور incenses.
It could be herb, wood or some kind of resin.
I have searched in many dictionaries and the main translation is agarwood/aloeswood but it's not actually this.
There is indeed such kind of agarwood called عود ند but "ند اسود" is different and not related to it.
The other possible translation from dictionaries is for amber or ambergris but it is very rare and expensive and the average people can't afford to use it, so it's unlikely.
And lastly I assume it could be labdanum, which is a substitute for ambergris and has black color.
I spoke also with egyptians because this incense is known there but they don't know what exactly is.
Proposed translations (English)
4 aloeswood

No, unfortunately I don't have a picture. In my case it was given as an ingredient in a recipe for making a incense which is used in spiritual practices (prayers) and I have met it in such occasions in other occult text as an incense for prayers, not exatly black magic. In some folk legends they say it is used for the extraction of treasures. In modern times there is even an ordinary musk incense sticks which are called ند but it's not what I'm searching. I spoke with an egyptian spiritual healer who is familiar with such kind of incenses and he is sure that ند اسود is not aloeswood and not even related, but he does't know what exactly is. I will greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

Do you have a picture of it or any ref. explaining in which occasions it is used. I found this website, which says that this kind of thing is used in Black magic, but again no pic or any explaination. :S
