Treba uzeti u obzir da izraz "college" ima različito značenje u različitim obrazovnim sistemima, a ovde se radi o nekadašnjim višim školama u dvogodišnjem trajanju posle srednje škole koje su davale diplomu inženjera u određenoj oblasti (za razliku od diplomiranog inženjera, koji je to zvanje dobijao posle završenog fakulteta u trajanju od 4-5 godina). Mislim da izraz "higer school" koji neke kolege koriste za višu školu nije dovoljno jasan.
Textile engineering (TE) or textile technology deals with the application of scientific and engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fiber, textile, and apparel processes, products, and machinery. These include natural and man-made materials, interaction of materials with machines, safety and health, energy conservation, and waste and pollution control. It is awarded in fields of industrial technologies such as Computers, Electronics, Radio and Television Broadcasting, and Engineering. It may also be for those who continue on to a four year university program.
