Doing my head in trying to think of a suitable way to express this concept.

The text refers to 'unipersonal' and 'colegiado' organs, i.e. university bodies made up of individuals acting alone (rectors, directors) and groups (various boards and councils)

Failing "Bodies/Organs composed of a single individual", I cannot see my way out of this problem, as I have found no convincing use of what would be a very useful word -unipersonal - in EN texts (plenty in translated texts). We have 'sole trader' and 'sole proprietorship' .... I wonder if that will inspire anyone?

neutral  Berni Armstrong: ...would depend on your target reader. If it is "by bureaucrats for bureaucrats" this "neutral" would be an agree. If it's for the general public I'd avoid it altogether simply using individuals and groups.
