In my experience, "imbibed with (fluids)" isn't normal English usage - you can imbibe something, or you can imbibe (intransitive).

Somehow the "inhibited" makes no sense to me, would like to know what it would mean here, perhaps Ivan can explain...
as for the doctor's use of language, the "rezavě" to me means specifying the color of the fluid, i.e. rezavé nasáknutí
