Dutch term or phrase: Blinden, blindlijsten
Hi there,

I am working on a series of safety protocols and keep running into the same term. Here it is in context:

Zorg ervoor dat de blindlijsten zorgvuldig bijgehouden en afgetekend worden

Maak een lijst van de blinden die verwijderd moeten worden

Registratie blinden

guards
Explanation:
It would help if you could elaborate on the nature of the, probably large, installation we're talking about here. It seems to me this is ralated to LOTO prcedures, where in this case removed guards are entered in a central log so they can be ticked off once restored before the installation is restarted.

KudoZ prefers one term per question, but you can find the other term in here ;-)

Screens, log of screens

Explanation:
I am not sure if this will be useful, but I suspect that it could be referring to the cleaning filters or screens (or guards). The context feels to me like it could be part of a PM (Preventative Maintenance) checklist. There would typically be some need to remove filters or "banks of filters" mounted at intakes/outlets. Such maintenance would be required to almost any conduit that carries air (or another gas/material). A tradesperson might need to maintain (clean with compressed air perhaps) the filters or screens, THEN indicate on a log sheet which ones need to be replaced (later), and which ones could remain in place for longer.
