Medical - Medical: Health Care / Doctor's statement
Dutch term or phrase: EMV score 8
The patient was transferred from Holland hospital to another European hospital, here's the doctor's report:

blood presssure 90/50 mmHg, pulse rate 110 beats/min., EMV score 8.

Can't decipher EMV in English. Is it a Dutch medical abbreviation?

Thanks.

EMV = Eye, motor and verbal response.

GCS seems to be used with the sum of the E, M and V scores (8 is also a sum of the E, M and V scores) and the separate E, M and V scores may also be shown e.g. "GCS 9 = E2 V4 M3 at 07:35" (from the Wiki link). The term "EMV score" with the sum of the scores is not very common (160 hits) and people more commonly seem to use "GCS score" (30,000 hits).
