knife drop plate plaque de réglage (en hauteur) des socs Explanation: A chisel plough is one with blades or tynes effectively reminiscent of knives, and in some cases scimitars. They don't turn soil over as mouldboard ploughs do, they simply disturb/break up the soil, pull out/sever small roots, dislodge stones, etc. Some call the tynes, or socs in French, 'knives'. I'm assuming the 'drop plate' is similar to the attachment going by the same name used to adjust the height of a towing ball or other hitch at the back of a vehicle, so plaque de réglage/ajustement (en hauteur). Low confidence, however, because we don't really have a lot of context to go on, because I'm not an agricultural specialist, and because I don't see how this ties in the rest of the term, -to-Standard Cap Screws. Some sentences before and after might help, if you have them. |
