It all depends on what this object actually is? I was thinking of a document sleeve into which other sheets might be inserted, which would probably be a 'chemise' — but then it oddly mentions 'side', so is this perhaps some kind of 3-dimensional sleev that fits over something, like a 'manchette'? I think if you do'nt already have the information, you'll need to check with your customer, to avoid the risk of a translation error, in view of the potential ambiguity.
