Bar coding technology plays an important role in any automated warehouse system. Bar code printers and readers are relatively inexpensive and can be incorporated into warehouse operations. The bar code readers greatly reduce manual data entry errors that occur in the warehouse. Other technologies such as RFID (radio frequency identification) is also becoming very inexpensive and should be considered for higher value inventory.

agree  Tony M: Not sure about 'plus grande' — this is one of those EN 'not-true-comparatives' — there is no real comparative involved, it just means 'high-value' stock items; I think 'items' needs to be conveyed in some way: worth putting RFIDs on high-value articles.
