Il s'agit d'un type de cri poussé par les chimpanzés et dont j'ignore le terme exact. On peut le trouver sous forme de substantif ou de verbe, comme dans la phrase suivante: "Ligada had been drawn to the site by the sounds of chimpanzees screaming and pant-hooting, which had been going on for two days straight."

Tout dépend à qui c'est destiné bien sûr, mais si vous voulez absolument traduire je crois, que "ululement" est ce qui s'en rapproche le plus.
