Im Prinzip bin ich auch mit dieser Lösung nicht ganz glücklich, denn es geht um die Gebühr, die zu entrichten ist, wenn die Laufzeit des eigentlichen Vertrags abgelaufen ist und dadurch eine Lücke in der Vertragsdeckung zwischen dem bisherigen (abgelaufenen) Vertrag und dem (jetzt oder in naher Zukunft abgeschlossenen) Anschlussvertrag entsteht. Ich habe etwas wie (die nicht belegbare) 'Überbrückungsgebühr' im Sinne gehabt, aber letztendlich ist 'Säumnisgebühr' vertretbar.

Asker: Der Vertrag wird ja nicht storniert (cancelled), sondern erreicht das Ende des Gültigkeitszeitraums. Gemeint ist hier auf jeden Fall die Lücke (der Serviceabdeckung), die entsteht, wenn ein Vertrag abgelaufen ist und noch kein Anschluss-/Folgevertrag abgeschlossen wurde. Der vorgeschlagene Begriff passt einfach nicht in den Kontext. Vielen Dank trotzdem.
