Israel

Declined
...apparently means "Soldier of God".

From the first link:

"Smith's Bible Dictionary

Is’rael -
(the prince that prevails with God ).

The name given, (Genesis 32:28) to Jacob after his wrestling with the angel, (Hosea 12:4) at Peniel. Gesenius interprets Israel "soldier of God." "

- The second link shows the Hebrew alphabet. Someone else will have to help you with this, as I don't speak any Hebrew.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Jeremias MARSCHALIK (X) : A dubious etymology gives "He who fights God", according to the narrative.
12 hrs
disagree Noah : PaLa's answer is just wrong. The narrative in Genesis says that "Israel" derives from striving, struggling or contending with God. This is somewhat tendentious. The name may actually mean, "God masters" or "God is master>"

gibor elohim

The above literally means "hero of
God." It's just not an expression that you find in Hebrew or Jewish literature. It's very alien. That is why it is also antithetical to have it emblazoned as a tattoo, since the Bible explicitly forbids tattooing. (Leviticus 19:28)

is'real

might be is'real, could be "hero of god", if you want the english to look like hebrew i have a font for you. but it might look stupid as a tattoo because its not hebrew. email [email protected] for the english font. no charge. for i too am a solider of god.

as for the no tattoo guy leviticus 19:28, some opinion stated that the old testament forbids tattoos in memorandium of the dead. "ye shall not make any cuts upon thy fleash, for the dead, nor imprint any marks upon you"

but most would agree only god can JUDGE.
