एडवाइज़री का उपयोग चेतावनी के रूप में ही किया जाता है, अतः इसे परामर्श न कह कर चेतावनी कहा जाए तो अधिक उपयुक्त होगा।

disagree vinod sharma : एडवाइज़री में परामर्श की अपेक्षा चेतावनी का भाव निहित होता है। स्वास्थ्य को हानि पहुँचा सकने वाले खाद्यों पर ही इसे अंकित किया जाता है। अतः उपभोक्ता चेतावनी कहना अधिक उपयुक्त होगा।
