This command allows you to select between conventional, linear key-driven persistence / cutoff driven displays, and logarithmically scaled displays.
The Cutoff Key method uses the numerical keys ‘0’ through ‘9’ to select the appropriate cutoff values based on the Cutoff Multiplier. This method has been retained for those used to being able to change the cutoff level. The Log10 Scaling method scales the log of the individual histogram cell value against the gray scale range (0-255). The 0-9 keys are no longer used, as the scaling is automatic. A shift value and threshold point may be specified if you wish to shift the gray scale of the log10 scaled image. See the program’s help facility for further information.
