ii) Staples may only use to secure plywood to the framing. Use 1-1/2" minimum length, 3/8" minimum crown width for ocean boxes, 1” minimum length is acceptable for boxes framed with 1” lumber.
iii) Use 1-1/4" wide, .031" thick, AAR approved, non-annealed steel strapping. 2” strapping may be required for large boxes. 3/4” strapping is acceptable for lightweight airfreight boxes.
