Estoy de acuerdo con patinba; debería ser "exacerbate" y no "exasperate".
Pero me pregunto si "agravar" no pegaría bien en este contexto.

No me pegaba nada lo de "exasperated" y pensé que podrían haberse confundido por "exacerbated" que va bien en el contexto. Lo que nunca pensé era que hasta el diccionario avalaría la confusión! (Ver abajo al final).
