English term

Spoilt for choice

English Tech/Engineering
This sentence is contained in a presentation slide, with no context. It should mean that the operator, after having evaluated all parameters to choose a particular model from a series of products (e.g., instruments), is not sure as to what he should choose. Can anybody conform that this is the right meaning, or, if not, what does this sentence mean for a native Einglish or American? Thank You in advance.

An overwhelming amount of choices

This means that the operator has to choose between a number of products all of them with their own (merits/detriments). He's "spoiled".
