French term
Conseil en propriété intellectuelle
French to English
Law/Patents
Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
Hi all,
I was wondering whether anyone knew how to formally address a conseil en propriété intellectuelle. Would it be correct to use "Maitre" as you would for a lawyer or would you simply use "Monsieur/Madame"?
Many thanks for your help.

I would adress as Monsieur or Madame, if the person's title is "conseil" since this is a consultant and unless something shows they are sollicitors, barristers or anything as such there is no reason to call them "Maître".

I don't know. Just a thought

I have a feeling that might not go down so well...don't think cpi's are particularly renowned for having a dry sense of humour! Cheers anyway though! |
