depends... ... what the product is: in the case of certain foods, the label says "non-perishable good/commodity/product", as opposed to perishable (the ones that can go bad); in the case of manufacturing products, equipments: "lifetime guarantee/warranty". Since I am guessing it IS a label on a product, I think you should not give a literal translation like "retains its quality etc". Not that it is incorrect, I just don't think it is used in commerce.
