I am not sure what 逆1乗則 could be other than a typo? Also, an electric field is a transverse wave (横波). Time-dependent electric field Explanation: In all the electromagnetics classes I took, my instructors and books often referred to this term as time-dependent electric field much like time-dependent Schodinger's equation. However, I don't understand where transverse wave comes from. My guess is they are trying to say the field strength is sinusoidal but gradually being killed off like under-damped harmonic oscillator.
