Innslusing=absorbtion, inward transfer Quincey, I am not sure what word to chose because I don't fully comprehend the context, but I can explain what the word means and how it is used.
Innslusing originally comes from sluices/waterlocks. The part of the process when you are letting water/vessel into the lock. The word is also commonly used for managing big amounts of anything going into anything, such as admitting people into an arena before an event (publikum ble innsluset gjennom sikkerhetskontrollen). So I guess in this context, what ever movement is required to admit something into a 3-veiskran is what you really are looking for. Please share what you come up with, this is a fun conundrum!

The way to make fluid pass through a three-way tap connector is by inserting a syringe into the end perpindicular to the desired flow direction. One pulls back on the syringe to draw fluid in, then turns the tap and pushes the syringe in order to make the fluid go through the other end. This technique amongst other is commonly used when one wants to draw a substance from a container and inject it into a patient in stages as eg. a contrast agent for an angiography procedure. I imagine it is these movements they are simulating.

I mean "the pulling back and filling of". Of course, you may come up with a better term conveying this meaning yourself ;-)
