For the purpose of enforcement proceedings, the definition of judgment (wyrok) is not used, rather an enforcement order (tytuł egzekucyjny) definition is used. As a rule, the enforcement order with a declaration of enforceability (klauzula wykonalności) is an enforceable title (tytuł wykonawczy), which is basis for execution. The enforcement order is either:

A non-appealable or immediately enforceable court decision as well as a settlement reached before the court.

A non-appealable or immediately enforceable ruling of a court clerk (referendarz sądowy).

Other rulings, settlements or deeds enforceable by court execution under relevant legislation.

A notarial deed whereby a debtor or other person specified by law submits himself to execution, if other specified conditions have been met (Article 777, Code of Civil Procedure (CCP)).

Under Article 1153(14) of the CCP, enforcement titles in Poland are also rulings issued in EU member states listed in this Q&A.

Additionally, judgments issued in EU member states covering protection measures included in the scope of application of Regulation 606/2013, if they are executable in manner other than enforcement, can also be used as a basis for the commencement of execution proceedings.
