Romanian term

FAB. # MD 00900474

Romanian to English Other Business/Commerce (general)
Good night. I've been translating cheques from Romanian into English and Russian and came across the following abbreviation - FAB. #, which is followed by certain numbers (codes). Maybe, someone knows how to translate this abbreviation into English or Russian. Thank you in advance.

check this: http://lex.justice.md/UserFiles/File/mo112-114md/An A.doc
www.kkm.md/site_swish/files/instr-func-fisc_MINIKA1102F.doc
(it seems not to work anymore, this second link, but I was able to open it and was similar to the first)

It might also be the "Manufacturer's Number" - # stands for number, that's for sure).

"Manufacturing number" sounds a bit strange in cheques of Eurocreditbank (schimb valutar). Please see below the following lines from one of the cheques:

IDNO 1002600020056
N INR A8782046
Cumparat 15
USD
X 11.500
MDL
172.50 - A
*******
******
Bon Fiscal
N. FAB. MD 23100297

Manufacturing number I'm pretty sure it's "Manufacturing number", in case you're translating from Moldavian.
