a) judeca in prima instanta cauzele date in competenta lor prin lege;
b) judeca recursurile impotriva hotaririlor Curtii de Apel, ale
Judecatoriei Economice a Republicii Moldova, adoptate in prima instanta si in ordine de apel; etc.
Cred ca o traducere competenta necesita lectura legii si ceva cunostiinte in domeniu.

: Assuming it comes from Russian, it would mean a "Division" or "Chamber" of a higher court (cf. the Russian коллегия, often mistranslated as "college" - parallel to secţie at the ÎCCJ) but I haven't time to look it up now as I'm going out :D

De acord, Peter. N-am intalnit termenul asta in alta parte. Numele asta pare insa sa fie traducerea oficiala.
