Spanish term

FA

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology Medical report
Hola!

The FA abbreviation appears a couple of times in a cardiology medical report. I thought it stood for Atrial Fibrillation in the first instance, but then I considered Fractional Shortening.

EKG: FA con RVM controlada 65 x. BCRIHH

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………........

My attempt for the second instance is: not stenotic due to AF / no stenosis due to AF

However, when from what I have read, AF causes stenosis and not the other way around.

Any help appreciated!

Correction Sorry, I meant to type that from what I have read, stenosis can cause AF and not the other way around.

AF

It is AF in both cases.
The second example is bit tricky just because "due to AF" is not related to a non-restrictive (no estenótico) filling pattern but to the "patrón monofásico de llenado [flujo] transmitral"; it says something like "non-restrictive [monofásico (high E/A; no-A wave] trans-mitral filling pattern, due to AF".
