Hallo,
ich habe schon in mehreren Foren rausgelesen, dass médico cirujano ein Allgemeinarzt ist, wie verhält es sich jetzt aber bei "cirujano dentista"?
Ich übersetze eine mexikanische Geburtsurkunde, in der die Berufe der Eltern des Kindes genannt werden. Diese waren zum Zeitpunkt der Geburt 21 bzw. 23 Jahre alt. Also wäre ein abgeschlossenes Studium zum Kieferchirurgen nicht realistisch (denke ich). Entspricht die Bezeichnung schlichtweg einem Zahnarzt bzw. Zahnärztin? Das Zeugnis stammt aus dem Jahr 1979.

23 Jahre ist übrigens nicht zu früh zur Ausübung dieses Berufs - in vielen Ländern fängt man ein Studium mit 18 Jahren an und das (zum großen Teil theoretische) Studium ist extrem straff in 5 Jahren durchorganisiert. Erst im Anschluss folgt dann die Praxiserfahrung.
