Hi James. Yes, I know what a cross-section is, I was just wondering about the X, but Harry just shed light on it. If seen X used to mean cross, but never in this context so far... Thanks to both of you.

Hard for me to explain what a cross section is without using the words cross and section ... because the fork is probably rounded at the end, to get exact measurements you need to measure the cross section.
