Arabic term

المشير

Arabic to English Social Sciences Government / Politics
بس الوضع بقى خطير فى البلد فى محامى فى المحلة الكبرياسمه تقريبا بسام اخد ارض وبنى عليها بوضع اليد وبيطالب اصحابه ب300 الف جنية علشان يسبها

للاسف **المشير** فى طنطا قالهم استنوا دوركم فى ناس زيكم كتير

The country is Egypt. I know the dictionary meaning is "marshal," but I am not sure what kind of marshal it is in this case (police marshal, for example, or something entirely different).

Note from asker:
Thank you, Noha. I am, of course, familiar with Field Marshal Tantawi but didn't think it referred to him in this case.
Thanks again, Noha. I thought it might be an official in the city of Tanta, like a mayor or something. Thanks for setting me straight.
