I'm doing a machine translation check and was wondering if the translation for "run" is ok as "Computer, der .... laufen lässt" here or if the common use in German is "Computer, auf dem das ... läuft". See original English and machine translated German below.

Rebekka: No, fortunately, I don't have to look at terms, only grammar of some highlighted words. This terminology here makes me laugh, too - this time, next time, when I have to correct it, it will make me cry!

nothing else :) Thankfully, we were asked to report back on such things so our "pre-translation wishlist" helps to improve the result of each batch. I actually quite enjoy post-editing. It's kind of light relief ;) Maybe it's ME who's going mad after all.

Seems to me that you're helping to improve the MT by reporting back incorrect or weird terms. In the first files of the post-editing job I'm currently working on "contact" was translated as "berühren" and "BlackBerry" as "Brombeere. Made me laugh if

Fortunately, I only have to mark "correct use" or "incorrect use" for the verb and not correct the whole sentences or terminology (or I would go MAD!!!) I would have used "ausführen" as well, but as instructions are "don't focus on terminology" I will have to query. For the time being, it will get an "incorrect". Thanks!

"läuft" sounds very slang like. "Ausführen" is the mor common used term if you look into help files and documentation.

I would still change the verb to "ausführen". Laufen lässt is too colloquial.

Browse should also be translated, IMHO

You also need to check the translation for "Backup Exec Remote Agent".
