Va interpretato con "eccetto che" in questo contesto? La mia interpretazione sarebbe la seguente:
"Se il Museo viene a conoscenza, dopo più di 48 mesi dall'acquisizione e consegna di un oggetto, della rivendicazione del patrimonio da parte di un governo straniero la cui rivendicazione sarebbe valida eccetto che per la preclusione della legge sulle prescrizioni o per il periodo di esenzione di tre anni di cui alla sezione 312 della Convenzione dell'UNESCO del 1970, il Museo normalmente offrirà la restituzione dell'oggetto al paese leso dietro pagamento di un giusto compenso." È corretta?
